WCPA Implores GPCC To Sit Down Both Pastors For A Harmonious Resolve

Worldwide Council of Prophetic Alliance has called on the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council [GPCC] to embrace a more harmonious way of addressing and resolving the feud that has ignited between the Apostle General of Royal House Chapel, Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah and the Founder of Glorious Word Power Ministry, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah.

As reported by several blog sites and other media, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah seems to have been triggered by comments Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah made regarding prophets who have had their skin bleached.

“Sam Korankye said pastors who bleach their skin are fake prophets but the GPCC is quiet about it. Even though I have not bleached my skin, preaching the word of God is not about colour; you cannot determine the colour of Moses or Elijah,” Rev Owusu Bempah said.

“…Sam Korankye is truly a womanizer and I won’t apologize for stating a fact,” he said, in retaliation the earlier.

The feud catching the attention of the GPCC, had it releasing a statement last Thursday.

” The Apostle General has not resided in or attended any of the places and schools Rev. Owusu Bempah mentioned in his reaction. Those who know the Apostle General’s family know that three out of his four children are fair. Does it mean that he injects and gives tablets to his children also to give them their fair colour? As for the accusation of sexual impropriety, that must be a figment of Rev. Owusu Bempah’s imagination,”

“While admitting that the Apostle General is human, we of the leadership of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council can vouch for his sexual and moral integrity and therefore challenge Rev. Owusu Bempah to name and/or produce the many girlfriends he claims the Apostle General is keeping,” it added.

Rev. Owusu Bempah on last Thursday, called the bluff of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council and reiterated he was never going to apologize for stating a fact. He further accused the Council of contrasting principles.

In lieu with the drama and other issues emanating from the clash and how things have unfolded after the statement released by the GPCC on last Thursday, the Worldwide Council of Prophetic Alliance [WCPA], has called on the GPCC to approach the situation a second time but with a more harmonious approach.

According to the president of the council, The Prophet Daniel Asamoah-Larbi, both pastors must be made to apologize to each other for character assassination and other purported comments, rather than asking one of the two to render an apology to the other.

“For the sanctity of our being as men of God and custodians of the Christian faith, we must not involve ourselves in such public outburst, for it goes against what we stand for and there are many people who look up to us”, he explained.

He also added that for a man of God to prophesy and have such prophecies come to pass, he deserves not to be slammed as “fake”.

Just to mention but a few, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah made prophecies regarding tragic happenings within the political scene and the presidential private jet.

The Worldwide Council of Prophetic Alliance [WCPA] involving itself in the fallout between Rev. Sam Korankye and Rev. Owusu Bempah, is spurred by its core value(s) of creating a smooth and cohesive system of unbiased communication between the government and the clergy, where both bodies harness the pieces of information they wield and convey them in a well-accepted and ethical manner, i.e. without the use of unhealthy and abusive expressions or purporting character assassination without evidence or reasonable cause.
